One of the things I hate doing is coming up with some witty little tag line to blog underneath, it’s difficult after 3 or so years. Getting down to business I thought that I’d just drop a line to air some views that I’m having at the moment. I’m going to force myself to try and blog daily, it’s better than whispering it into the ear of a sleeping cat. That kind of stuff makes people talk about getting you committed and shit. I think it’s time for a new paragraph. This one is tainted with madness…

Hello again. This is the new paragraph. Let’s hope that this clean break will help the writing of this happen a bit more smoothly. I just had a thought, when people ask “What have you been up to?” I never know what to say. Surprisingly I’m not a spy, a policeman, a banker, a mugger so it is very rare that I have been up to something, and even if I had, I’m pretty sure it’s nothing that is remotely interesting to people. Usually I just answer “Nothing, you?” and it’s normally a springboard for them to bore me with what they’ve been up to. Next time someone asks me “What have you been up to?” I am actually going to tell them:

“What have you been up to?”

I’ve been sitting around in my pants watching the television. Occasionally I’ll play a computer game and other times I’ll just read a book or a magazine. The best times I have is when I’m just staring into space!

I don’t think that there is anything plainly wrong with doing that but there is a line of knowing too much about someone. I think the better choice would have been to talk about what I was watching on TV or what I was reading. If they really wanted to know what I was up to they would want to hear about it. Does that make any sense? Well it does to me. This is a weird and opinionated blog post and I’ve enjoye writing it. Might try and do this more…
