I wonder how many times I am going to start a blog post with the phrase “It’s been a weird couple of days”. I think I’ve used it quite a bit but it kind of has. The weirdest thing has been being away from my lovely wife. We’re more or less joined at the hip and when we’re removed from the hip for any extended period of time it feels odd. She’s going to be over very shortly and I can;t wait. I thought I might as well post a blog as I wait.

I’ve been messing around with my new phone. I absolutely love it. It’s like the best phone ever. Some of the things it can do are quite scary. It can track where I’ve been walking and put it on a map on google. My walking habits can be googled. I’m not sure if I’m overly happy with that but if I ever need to, I have the option of not doing that. I only did it cos I was a little curious as to how it worked. It did and that’s that.

As I am typing this I am getting a lovely whiff of someone’s BBQ. We’ve not had a BBQ yet this year but I am looking forward to it like no one’s business. We’ve got a roast dinner later. I’m really looking forward to it. Its the only day of the week where all the family huddle around a table and eat together. It feels special. Kinda.

I’ve run out of things to say now.
