I’ve just gotten back from spending the afternoon with my wife in Great Yarmouth. It started very nice with a fry up and a look in a second hand bookshop down Market Row. I like Market Row, it’s probably the most tolerable part of Great Yarmouth. So we finish down there and walk up to Game and Gamestation. For the love of God why do people insist on bringing their gosh darn children into a computer game shop. They’re just their to make a lot of noise when they’ve found some game involving the latest craze. Grrrr…. And then there’s the old people buying for the younger grandkids or whatever. I mean, they’re gonna get it wrong anyway so why send them?
We also went into the abomination that is know as Poundland. It was Hell on earth. I don’t like beirng in such close proximity to anybody I don’t know. I mean, was nearly holding hands with some random arse man. It’s really not cool. Then there’s the people with their buggies trying to navigate the narrow aisles with their screaming kids pushing past me trying to grab shit off the shelves that their parents sure as Hell aren’t going to buy them. I found some stuff I want but it’s too much for me so I ask if we can leave this Hell hole and there’s a massive queue. Not a major problem but when I’m getting pushed in the back of my legs by some whore with a pushchair I decide that I might as well wait outside before I injure someone.
Then to round of the day on a lighter note, I rescued a pigeon from a phone box. What it was doing in there I’ll never know. Not a great messenger pigeon if it has to resort to using a payphone.
Rant over.

It seems that I forgot to mention the DVDs I recently bought. I got the Sword in the Stone and Bedknobs and Broomsticks (Buy one get one free, bloody bargain)… Anyway, I have seen them and the Bedknobs and Broomsticks one was very interesting for me to watch. My Mum and Dad during the 1980s taped alot of films etc off the TV so we could watch them during the summer holidays and all that kinda thing. One of those was Bedknobs and Broomsticks. I bought the DVD ‘cos I found out it was like a remastered version and all that stuff. Turns out the one that used to be on TV was edited quite a bit. So watching it with a bunch of extended scenes was truly wonderful… Oh dear… I sound like a ponce. The only thing that subtracted away from the DVD was the fact that some of the scenes had to be rudubbed by “soundalikes” ‘cos there was no exsiting audio or the qualitty was a bit ropey. Not being funny, it wasn’t seamless enough, They should have just left the scenes out of the release. They weren’t important things either… I’m waffling but it made the film drag. Whatever. I still like it… I’m tired… Speak to you tomoz

It’s that time of year again… The time where everybody gets a little too confused about the time changing… Its not difficult… Spring: Forward, Fall: Back… I know its autumn here in the UK but it makes sense. Its funny. I was just making myself a cup of coffee and they were making a big deal about it on the radio in case old people forget… What do they think will happen? They will vanish in a crazy dimension where they’re an hour ahead of everyone? No. The worst thing that will happen will be they look a little foolish when they meet the first person the meet that day…
