Something very funny has happened today. I started going through a bunch of old files and folders and stuff and I have found a load of my old demos and shit. I love listening through old stuff especially if it means I can remix it. I have made a new remix of my song “Theme From The Dead Horses” and it was odd to hear each part of the song on it’s own possibly for the first time again and it’s made me want to try and record that fateful album that never materialized back in 2006. Here are some video blogs when I was optimistic etc.
I really hope I can get around to recording a CD. I had so many hopes and dreams for it that I want to use before I forget and all I’ll have is a sad look on my face and a bag of what ifs when I’m pottering around an old peoples home before I die. Yeah, I’m cheeful. I’m optimistic.
Here is the remix I made today as well as some other stuff I found:

I’ve had quite a few days I’d say. I’ve made fleeting references to some of these days ‘cos I’m not supposed to. But that’s OK. I want to talk about some other stuff. Did you know there is a vote coming up very soon? I’ll be honest, I’ve no idea who to vote for. My letter box here at Excalibur Cottage has been bombarded with properganda from various Political parties. I’ve had stuff from the BNP (nah), Labour and the Tories. Nothing from the Lib Dems or Green party yet. There’s still time. I’ve read through each of their leaflets and I’ve already decided not to vote for the BNP. I’m not sure why, maybe I’m just not right wing enough (or at all?)
I’ve just made myself a lovely cup of tea. I can smell it right under my nose as I type and I’m very much looking forward to it. I love tea. Its probably one of my favourite drinks. I like coffee but tea would have to get my vote.
I nearly went into Starbucks the other day and I’ve heard rumours about how difficult it is to order a coffee in there. I whipped out my phone to try and make sense of what I might be ordering instead of being bombarded by questions that obvioulsy I’d have no idea how to answer (Like “Do you want it wet or dry?”… WTF? Dry would be just dust right?) I didn’t have to go in so thats good. I was so tempted to go “Larry David” on them:
