I’m quite excited. I like New Years ‘cos it’s kinda like you get a fresh start. I know this is all a state of mind and that kinda thing but sod it. I like the idea that everything is new and stuff. I’ve got some New Years Resolutions. They’re quite lame and I won’t be putting them up on here.

I got a new camera yesterday. It was kind of an impulse buy but I got it so I can start the year documenting it. Its a new toy and I’m filming everything. I pla on uploading more video content in the new year. I’m not gonna say I’m going to do it every day. That’s just silly. I’ll be doing it more often. I’m babbling. I’m currently uploading 2 videos. One of our cat Bear and another of the Xmas decorations and lights etc.

Just went apeshit at some wood with an axe and now we have Xmas logs… Woot!

I’m not looking forward to the next few days. I know that as soon as they have expired it’ll be Xmas. I’m happy about that but I’m not looking forward to the next 3 days since I’ll be working all day and not being able to see my girlfriend. I won;t even get to talk to her much. I’m going soft in my old age I think. I’m looking forward to Xmas and the new year. Nothing like the feeling of the new year being a mark of a clean slate. I don’t know what it is about it but for some reason it feels like sense of relief. I guess it’s because life slows down more and thigs settle back to the nice steady pace of which I am happy with.

I’ve got high hopes for the new year. I probably shouldn’t talk it up too much as it will lead to disappointment. I’ve got to go to bed in an hour and I don’t want to. It’ll be the start of me having ittle free time up until Xmas. I’m bored and restless. I wish my wife was here. She’s the best. Whenever she’s around I never get bored. OK, gonna change the subject in case I start pining like a dog… [too late for that]

I think I’m gonna head off. Better start winding down. Need to be in bed pretty soon… Need my sleep for work tomoz… Work then church. How will I keep awake?
