I’m listening to some Jimi Hendrix at the moment. I’ve not listened to him for a good while. I’d have to say he’s on of the guitarist I admire. Him and Jack White from the White Stripes. Whatever they’re doing to their guitar to get that kind of sound out of it should be illegal. I’m not a big fan of the guitar solo. not long wanky ones anyway. Some are awesome but when the rest of the band go for a tea break during it, you know it’s too long…. Mentioning no names, Mick Ronson!)

I’ve been busying myself with playing computer games. mainly Grand Theft Auto Chinatown Wars on the DS. It’s really good and well worth playing. Also been playing Animal Crossing obviously. So many games out now that are good fun. Good grief, just realised I’ve not played Dead Rising for a little while. See, that’s what happens when you have too many games on the go at one time. I’m am actually actively trying to get games done and dusted. (It took me yonks to getting around to finishing Ghostbusters on the C64) I’ve only finished one Wii game so far (if you don’t count House of the Dead) is the Simpsons Game. It wasn’t particularly taxing on the brai but ruddy good fun. At this point I think it’s time for me to stop this blog before it goes ono another tangent.

I’m listening to some David Bowie at the moment. I think he’s cool. I actually am listening to a playlist of my fav Bowie tracks. That’s one things you couldn’t easily do with CDs. Tapes, yes but still a pain in the arse. “Fiiiiive years!”

I also want to write soe whimsical music again. I need to do it more. I bought a guitar magazine the other day. I do this every now and again to still uphold the pretence that I’m a musician. I’m learning the song “Boom Boom” by John Lee Hooker. I’m not really used to playing that kind of music. I’m more strumming based. And even then, I can remember my tutor getting annoyed at my lack of imagination when it comes to inventing patterns. I was more into getting the chords right before I went crazy with it.

I was also remembering my last live thing I did. I am rubbish at remembering lyrics and stuff. It took me days to remember the lyrics to “Willow the Whisperer” etc. I should maybe try and do some new songs. I am inactively working on the Jack the Ripper musical but I want to work on some more normal stuff. I’m waffling…

I’m doing a long overdue tidy of my room. It’s looking much much better. I’m surprised at how much cherry coke we drink… Not good… I’m listening to “Diamond Dogs” at the moment. That’s why I put “Rebel Rebel” above here… There are reasons behind most things, its just I sometimes chose not to explain them…
