Just been listening to stuff I was working on before the new year. I should probably get cracking on the Ripper Musical. I’ve not read the books for a while and I’ll be honest, I’ve lost a bit of the fire in my belly about it but I’m sure in the end I’ll get it finished. It’s quite hard after so many month to get the enthusiasm back for it. I will though.

I also listened to some songs which I’d finished and not heard for a while. Its funny how stuff you think is finished turns out that you may not be as finished as you thought. I guess the good thing about putting things on pause for a while is that when you get back to pressing play its kind of like you are your own second opinion. I’m babbling but I don’t mind.

I got a new keyboard and its not all that great. The delete key is shitty. And this keyboard makes a hell of a lot more sound than I’m used to. I’ll get over it. Soon the tippity tapping will make me feel right at home.

Get me and my jar of coffee… I’m looking forward to having so many days to do stuff. I’ve got a couple of songs I want to work on and stuff. I’m feeling quite keen on maybe doing some live performances. I want to write a few songs specially for the occasion. I am working on one about a cat and I’m writing some Epic Rock. I have no life laugh out loud.

I just watched that Dead Set TV show on E4. I was really looking forward to it, being an old fan of Big Brother and all that kinda thing and also zombie stuff. There’s one problem with zombie stories and that is its too predictable. Shaun of the Dead did it before them. Its still funny. Charlie Brooker is funny Only he would have someone getting away from a zombie and pushing a disabled person in the zombies path to save his own skin… No zombie thing will beat Night of the Living Dead…

talking of zombies and stuff. Halloween is coming up. I’m looking forward to it. Obviously I got my Halloween song for the internet but I’ve also got some plans. Ooooh… I’m gonna do the thing that everybody does, watch horror films. I’m gonna have a horror marathon with my girlfriend. We’re gonna dress up and watch people die in unfortunate ways. You can’t beat it…

Oh man, I am so tired. I got up at 5.30am… And yes my mobile woke me up at 4.30am cos it failed to set itself back an hour. So I was one of those people lost in the other world of old time… Anyway, I am tired and I wanted to just let you know. I’ve been up to sme recording. One is for the halloween special podcast. I’ve just got to redo all the vocals and it’ll be done. Its a cover unless I can come up with something else before Halloween. That’s all I got to say really. I’ve been messing ’round with my Korg DS-10 more. Starting to get some nice sounds out of it…

I’ve been having a lovely geek filled day today. I’ve been doing a bunch of boring web design shit that if you feel the need to look at click here… Yeah, I’m impressed too… I’ve also been having some fun messing around with some new synth software I’ve recently aquired. It’s sounding good and it’s helping me create new music. No longer am I just limited to guitar. I’ve been playing around with drum loops and all that kinda thing. I’ve actually got a new thing on my DS that lets me create music. I can plug it into my amp and its fun to jam with. I’m so excited by it all. I was really happy to change my profile on MySpace so that I’m now classed as an Acoustic, Electro, Comedy act… Nice. I want to move away from comedy. Maybe I should forray into whimsy. I dunno. I’m painting blue skies. At no point will I be Patrick Wolf…
