I’m really excited for this year. I think it should be a very fun year for all kinds of reasons. I’ve finally stepped up and bought an audio mixer and stuff so technically I am able to broadcast live performances and all that kind of thing. It’ll also mean that I’ll be able to record songs a lot quicker and what not.
I know I’ve not been all that active on here but that’s because I have wanted to take a little break and take stock on how I should be doing things. I think I’ve worked stuff out now and I’m happy.
Here’s to 2010 and the possible completion to “Jack The Ripper: The Musical”.

It’s cool having a really part time job. It’s cool cos tomoz is my last day before another 4 days off. Its so good. Its not as if I got stuff planned or stuff like that. If anything, the opposite. I love it…
I’m getting second thoughts about the Jack the Ripper musical. I am reading a book about it and it did disturb me a little bit. Everybody knows that Jack the Ripper was a murderer of Victorian times. Many years ago and all that kinda thing. The other thing people know is that he got away with it, evaded the police etc. So anyway, I was reading this one chapter and it says in detail how he carved up this poor unfortunate. He was fucked up and I don;t think its good to make light of something that is quite serious. The musical was never going to make fun or downplay the story more the whole legend that surrounds it and how he more or less got away with it forever. Damn having a conscience…
I got to go to bed anyway. Another early start tomoz…

Yes. Web store question mark. This morning I was trying to sort out a MP3 store for the site. It is way too friggin’ difficult for me to even try to comprehend. This conclusion came after I spent an hour or so going ’round in circles.
I took a little break, read a book in my favourite place of solitude, the local duckpond and I feel refreshed and revitalised. I have just been searching around for some cool stuff for the Jack the Ripper musical I’m doing. I should probably get started on lyrical stuff. I find it difficult. The book I’m reading is meandering through theories on how the Ripper is a certain guy and stuff and not the actual facts of what he did etc. I don;t want to glamourize what he did, I just want to tell the story and how it’s become part of English folklore. Yeah I’m sounding poncy now
