Happy Easter!
(Posted 2:35 pm)

“It’s Easter time, there’s no need to be afraid!”. I’m not sure where I’m going with that opening line. So I’m gonna drop the pretence that I’m going somewhere with it.

It’s Easter obviously. For me it’s just hanging out with the family and enjoying “Bunny Day” on Animal Crossing on the Wii. Good fun!

This is going to be a shorter blog ‘cos I really have nothing to say and stuff. I did go for a jog this morning at 6.30am. It was quite surreal but I think I did alright. I did 0.7 miles which from nothing is pretty good. I was bloody knackered and had to walk back. Surprisingly I didn’t feel it was that cold and stuff. I was surprised by the abundance of birds and worms that were scattered about living it up without humans around. I’m quite pleased ‘cos it started raining after I got back so I managed to avoid it. Lady luck was smiling on me! I want to go do it some more during the week as I found it quite fun!

Good Friday
(Posted 11:55 am)

No it’s not just some quaint way I’ve decided to greet you, it’s just a religious day. I’ll be honest, I’m not sure what Good Friday is supposed to bring and all that, but all I do know is that the postman won’t come today. I should probably google what Good Friday is actually all about but I don’t want this blog to turn intoa downer so early on. All it means for me is that I’ll be doing the proverbial bugger and all, and enjoy myself all the way. It’s also quite likely that I’ll be on Wii Fit again. My aim today is to do the jogging part of the game for 30 minutes today. I did 20 yesterday and I am very pleased with that.

I’ve been taking those “Choose Your 5 Favourite” whatevers on Facebook. It’s fun to try and work out what you like or not as the case may be. The one I enjoyed the most was the “Five Movies I Wish I Had Never Seen”

Five Bad Movies

I racked my brain to try and work out which films I wish I hadn’t seen. But I’m hoping that I couldn’t think of any because my brain erased them from my brain. Nothing like a bit of repressed memory.

I’ve finished for this blog. Can’t think of anything else to say…

Wii Fit?
(Posted 8:07 pm)

I’ve mentioned it previously but I think I want to talk about Wii Fit. I have been doing it for about a week and was a little apprehensive about it’s legitimacy as a fitness aid. I am not the most healthy of people and I don’t like the amount it doesn’t take me to get out of breath. I think it has something to do with my lungs, well specifically one of my lungs (it’s being a little bastard and collapsing last year). So I thought to Heck with speculation and I’ll jump into it. I’ve been doing it a week and it’s been a lot of fun and I feel loads healthier. I’ll be honest here too, I am seriously considering actually starting to jog in a few weeks when I am confident enough I’m able to do it.

I also knew before but Wii Fit confirmed it that I am a little overweight and all this activity is hopefully going to help me lose some weight. Especially if it’s just enough to help me be able to start jogging soon.

Wassup Homie?*
(Posted 9:06 pm)

I’ve had a weird day. I woke up and mentioned to my Ma that I needed a doctors appointment to review the medication I am on. So she rang the doctors surgery and I was fully expecting like an appointment next week or something. They rang me back and told me to be there in an hour. WTF?!? Usually getting an appointment is like pulling teeth. I so wasn’t in the mood to go to the doctors. Anyway I went and they’re all like “yeah cool erm have you had any thoughts of self harming?” nice line to open with. Like they were expecting me to have. Anyway, it’s all OK, I am still on the meds and any side effects will be finishing soon. I don’t want to mention certain side effects until they go away. It’s a little embarrassing. Yadda yadda yadda.

My Wii Fit yoga mat arrived. It’s bloody nice actually. Makes some of the yoga moves somewhat more comfortable. One of the moves is called the Shoulder Stand and it involves putting your feet above your head onto the floor. It used to hurt my head doing it on the hard floor but the mat makes it easier.

I’ve got nothing else to say at the moment

Hullo Again
(Posted 1:53 pm)

I’m in a mood to talk abut what I’ve been up to again. I’m not sure why. As I am typing this, I am achy. Wii Fit is good fun but it takes it out of you. My muscles are tighter etc but at the same time, I ache. I’m pleased with the results. My balance is better than it was before (according to Wii Fit). Quite pleased with that obviously. I’m going to keep doing it until I get bored of it. It sounds odd but I like the feeling of just when I’ve finished exercising. I feel warm all over. I cannot explain it but it feels very nice.

Not a lot has been going on otherwise. I’ve been using Twitter a lot more. I’m pleased that I can upload pictures straight to it. I’m still excited about being able to do that. I’m trying to sort out how to send pictures directly to here but I cannot work it out. If you want to see the pictures I’ve uploaded already you can find them here. If you’ve got a Twitter, please follow me. I’ll more than likely follow back to.
