I’ve been debating all day and some of yesterday as to whether I should indulge my hidden Beatles fan and buy the Beatles Rock Band for my Wii. It’s a difficult decision for me to make as my girlfriend really hates the Beatles. Like properly. So if I get that, she won’t like it. On top of that it’s quite expensive and I’m not sure exactly how much I’m going to play it. I know I’m not a proper gamer and I go through phases of playing them etc.
The main reason why I’ve been mulling over buying it is because I saw it quite cheaply in tescos the other day. £97 for the game, a guitar, some drums and a microphone. Not bad, but I think I’m going through a semi delayed impulse buy. I now think that I have made up my mind properly about if I should buy it and I’ve decided that no, I won’t get it. I could spend the £100 some other way.

“It’s Easter time, there’s no need to be afraid!”. I’m not sure where I’m going with that opening line. So I’m gonna drop the pretence that I’m going somewhere with it.
It’s Easter obviously. For me it’s just hanging out with the family and enjoying “Bunny Day” on Animal Crossing on the Wii. Good fun!
This is going to be a shorter blog ‘cos I really have nothing to say and stuff. I did go for a jog this morning at 6.30am. It was quite surreal but I think I did alright. I did 0.7 miles which from nothing is pretty good. I was bloody knackered and had to walk back. Surprisingly I didn’t feel it was that cold and stuff. I was surprised by the abundance of birds and worms that were scattered about living it up without humans around. I’m quite pleased ‘cos it started raining after I got back so I managed to avoid it. Lady luck was smiling on me! I want to go do it some more during the week as I found it quite fun!

I’m in a mood to talk abut what I’ve been up to again. I’m not sure why. As I am typing this, I am achy. Wii Fit is good fun but it takes it out of you. My muscles are tighter etc but at the same time, I ache. I’m pleased with the results. My balance is better than it was before (according to Wii Fit). Quite pleased with that obviously. I’m going to keep doing it until I get bored of it. It sounds odd but I like the feeling of just when I’ve finished exercising. I feel warm all over. I cannot explain it but it feels very nice.
Not a lot has been going on otherwise. I’ve been using Twitter a lot more. I’m pleased that I can upload pictures straight to it. I’m still excited about being able to do that. I’m trying to sort out how to send pictures directly to here but I cannot work it out. If you want to see the pictures I’ve uploaded already you can find them here. If you’ve got a Twitter, please follow me. I’ll more than likely follow back to.

I’m in another mood to blog. I guess it’s good if I do it. Rather than speaking into a shoe or a hat as it were. I’m feeling less depressed and anxious than I have been of late and it’s deffo good. My initial worries about taking medication for it have subsided a bit. I didn’t have many side effects. Only a couple and they’ve pretty much passed. I am feeling better in myself and I’m sure having a week break is helping me too.
I’m listening to some Jimi Hendrix at the moment. I’ve not listened to him for a good while. I’d have to say he’s on of the guitarist I admire. Him and Jack White from the White Stripes. Whatever they’re doing to their guitar to get that kind of sound out of it should be illegal. I’m not a big fan of the guitar solo. not long wanky ones anyway. Some are awesome but when the rest of the band go for a tea break during it, you know it’s too long…. Mentioning no names, Mick Ronson!)
I’ve been busying myself with playing computer games. mainly Grand Theft Auto Chinatown Wars on the DS. It’s really good and well worth playing. Also been playing Animal Crossing obviously. So many games out now that are good fun. Good grief, just realised I’ve not played Dead Rising for a little while. See, that’s what happens when you have too many games on the go at one time. I’m am actually actively trying to get games done and dusted. (It took me yonks to getting around to finishing Ghostbusters on the C64) I’ve only finished one Wii game so far (if you don’t count House of the Dead) is the Simpsons Game. It wasn’t particularly taxing on the brai but ruddy good fun. At this point I think it’s time for me to stop this blog before it goes ono another tangent.
Oh BTW, Curry for tea!… Woot!

People are slagging it off, even the Nintendo Official Magazine but I don’t mind it so far. It’s pretty straight forward and I love shooting zombies… I can’t see what the problem is
